girl, I wonder where you
had the space
for my heart
in that little bag
when you ran away
I chased you down highways that I
feared some years ago
for tales of men who
have died of thirst in all those days before
and you
you turned around all the road signs into the wrong way
and you,girl
tore the asphalt open with your burning soles
and your souls burned
burned right through your flesh
peeled off your first layer of skin
went over to the second
I wonder what will be left of you, girl
once you arrive where your goodbye letter said you would arrive
I think the rally brilliant part of this, si how the gravel and the ground, along with the grass help build the impression of not wanting/managing to look at her face and keeps a sort of intimate distance between the watcher and the person. It adds a little mystery to it, along with a nice composition.
goodness.thank you for spending thoughts on the picture , actually.. before making a comment. that's grand.. very interesting point you have there.. I guess that's why I had the camera on the ground. it's a bit like looking back after someone kicked you into your stomach. someone you loved , actually.

You really are a brilliant writer. I know I've said this before, but when I go to check my deviations, I always flip through them and save yours for last. I save and savor them like chocolate.
The last line is my favorite. It's something that some people don't consider- how someone lives after they are gone.
And the photograph is gorgeous, as well. The faded colors are perfect. I like her dress and how you can't tell whether she's looking at you or away. How you can't see her face.

Ugh, I feel weird comenting on photography because my insights are so very lacking. I would also feel badly not commenting on something so wonderful. I guess I'll just keep it simple. I love the layered feel of this all. I only wish I could view it off the computer screen where scrolling is a major hinderance.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
